Shiva Process Self-Inquiry

Shiva Process Self-Inquiry is a revolutionary spiritual technique. Although Self-Inquiry is an ancient practice, appearing in diverse forms in various spiritual traditions, nonetheless Shiva Process is a unique approach, particularly suited to modern life. Just like the traditional forms of Self-Inquiry, Shiva Process leads the practitioner towards Divine experience. However, Shiva Process goes beyond even this. The Tantric vision sees the entire world as a Divine sport. In this spirit, Shiva Process honours the ‘personal’ as well as the ‘Divine’, helping the practitioner solve practical problems, allowing them to spiritualise and find flow in every area of their life — their relationships, their health, and their career.

In a sense, spirituality is all about remaining in the ‘Clear Space of Good Feeling’. This is the state that we are in when our minds are clear, and our emotions are positive; we are relaxed, peaceful, loving and happy. However, we all too often lose our connection to this state, as we face the challenges of everyday life. Our thoughts and our feelings become negative, and the Clear Space of Good Feeling can seem like a distant memory.

Shiva Process Self-Inquiry allows us to dissolve negative thoughts and emotions and return to peace. It teaches us how to stay in the Clear Space of Good Feeling in the face of life’s difficulties. This technique involves asking a series of questions to invoke the profound wisdom that lies within each of us; the voice of the inner Self. We learn to look directly at inner blocks and tension that cause us distress and separate us from the Clear Space of Good Feeling. Once these blocks are seen and acknowledged, we learn how to resolve them, allowing the uplifting power of the Self to manifest.

Private sessions

Working one-on-one with an experienced facilitator is one of the best ways to become familiar with the Shiva Process technique. Private sessions can be incredibly powerful and transformative, and can be used to explore and resolve specific issues in your life.

Group Sessions

When the elements of Shiva Process Self-Inquiry are used with a group of fellow seekers, a dynamic chemistry is created and a collective consciousness arises. Shiva Process Group Sessions utilise this collective consciousness for personal and spiritual growth, allowing participants to offer and receive ‘feedback’ from fellow practitioners. This process uplifts the energy or Shakti of the group, for the benefit of all participants.

The Ashram holds Shiva Process Group Sessions each week.

Shiva Process Self Inquiry Training

The Ashram offers further training for Shiva Process practitioners who wish to become facilitators of this technique. This training is an opportunity to dive deeply into one’s own Self Inquiry practice, and also to explore the dynamics and principles of facilitating this process with others.
